Almansa is a policeman. He works on the robbery of the Royal Mint of Spain.

In October 2016, at the start of the Fabrique robbery case, agent Almansa made a call to his wife to warn her that he could not have dinner with his in-laws this evening since he was busy with the robbery case. When he makes this phone call, the police pick up the signal and believe that the robbers are trying to communicate. It is therefore only a false alarm.
